Orchestra Recording
Periphonic Media are well versed in recording for classical release and music for TV, Film & Games. We offer orchestral recording packages from 16-channel 'classical' style recording up to 60-channel multi-track recordings with the option of click track and visuals for picture intended for film scores delivery. Remote sessions available to allow those in geographically distant locations to attend the recording session, we commonly hold film scoring sessions in Manchester, UK with clients in LA, USA.

Concert Recording
Capturing the energy, emotion, intimacy and ambience of a performance is what we strive to achieve, recreating the experience of being there in person for those who couldn't be. Solo performances to symphony orchestras in concert halls, recital rooms, churches and theatres are common for our engineers. We deploy studio quality equipment with redundant systems, where possible we prefer to utilise flown microphone systems to be as discrete as possible.
The piece was played beautifully, and the final mixed product is exactly what I wanted.

Edit, Mix & Master
We work both with our recording clients and with recordings done by others. Working closely with producers and artists we achieve the desired edits using ProTools but accept audio in different formats or any major DAW project.
Sometimes composers, producer or artists may record in various locations or utilise from home music recording services, our engineers will blend these together to form a coherent mix that will sound as one ensemble. Delivery to all major platforms and surround sound where requested.
Sound Reinforcement
Our audio engineers have experience working with orchestras, rock/pop musicians, jazz etc. from arenas, concert halls and theatres.
Whatever your requirements we have a wealth of experience in live sound. We can provide all production elements (digital desks, microphones, power, cabling etc.) to just an engineer to operate.

Studio recording shoots & live concert recording are our most common requests but also specialise in artist digital promotional material, competition recordings and graduation shows.
We provide services from 1 camera to multi-camera shoots with vision mixing by our producer to ensure the key interests of the score are captured by our operators.
Our team are talented operators and keen story tellers, a brilliant combination when capturing the emotion of a performance. We offer behind-the-scenes video and photography.
Broadcast & Live Stream
Our operators and video producer are experts at live concert broadcast or recording for deferred broadcast. Our crew can score read and our producer will ensure the operators and vision mixer are instructed on the key points of interest to ensure the highest quality experience for the viewer.
Coupled with our audio team you can rest assured a professional live stream to your desired platform.
